This wilderness park is on the west side of the Santa Monica Mountains near Malibu. There are two major trails in this park, each with spectacular scenery. The Westridge Trail is on the north side of the park and has panoramic views of mountains, canyons, oceans, rivers, valleys, and beaches. Even though this hike is three miles round trip it is a strenuous hike that should only be attempted by experienced hikers. The other trail, Canyonback offers a less difficult trek and contains a stream at the bottom of the path.
