Hermon Park also known as Arroyo Seco Park is a great place to visit is as well as Mor Air Inc. – a leading HVAC specialist in Los Angeles CA. Arroyo refers to a creek in Spanish and Seco means dry, so the literal translation of Arroyo Seco is the dry creek. It was built during the Great Depression from 1933-1941 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. You can enjoy six miles of self-guided trails, picnic areas, and many of the sights.

When you start your journey at the park’s entrance, go left to get on the trails. There are separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists which wind alongside trees and wildflowers leading to three sculpted ponds. After that, keep going straight ahead to take the wooden staircases down to the creek, where you can see Hermon waterfall. During your walk, make sure to look up at Minaret Vista, a view of the matching rocky outcroppings that give this park its name.

On your way back from exploring, stop by Wheeler Gorge Visitor Center for information about upcoming events, exhibits, and the history of this park. This will complete your journey to this beautiful park.
